1. Who we are
The game Imperion War ("the Game") is operated by [Company name], [registered address, company ID] ("we", "us"). We are the controller of your personal data. Contact: [email].
2. What data we process
- Account data: username, email address and a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself). If you sign in with Google: your Google account identifier and email address.
- Game data: your progress, castle, resources, army, commanders, alliance membership, battles, purchases of in-game items and similar game state.
- Communication: chat messages and in-game mail you send (visible to the players you send them to; automatically screened for offensive language), and reports you send to support.
- Security data: IP address and browser / device description at registration, login and password reset, and the time of your last login - used to protect accounts and detect abuse.
- Purchases (Android): the purchase token and order number that Google Play gives us to verify and credit a purchase. We never see your payment card or bank details.
- Push notifications (only if you allow them on your device): a Firebase Cloud Messaging device token, used only to send the game notifications you can switch on and off in Profile → Settings.
- Optional analytics (only if you switch "Analytics" on): a small first-party log of game events - session started, Player Level reached, tutorial step finished, first recruit, alliance joined - with a timestamp. It contains no IP address, no device identifier and no advertising identifier. It is OFF until you switch it on.
3. Why we process it (legal basis)
- To provide the Game and your account - performance of the contract (our Terms of Service).
- To keep the Game secure and fair (anti-cheat, abuse prevention, moderation) - our legitimate interest.
- To process purchases and keep accounting records - contract and legal obligation.
- Push notifications and optional analytics - your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Where your data is stored and who receives it
Your data is stored in our own database on servers we rent in the European Union (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Frankfurt, Germany); backups are kept in the EU for 14 days. We use these service providers (processors), only for the purpose named:
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - hosting of the game servers and the database.
- Google - Google Sign-In (if you use it), Google Play billing (purchases on Android) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications).
- [email provider] - sending password-reset emails you request.
We do not use advertising networks or third-party trackers, and we do not sell your data. Google may process data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses / the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
5. How long we keep it
- Account and game data: as long as your account exists. You can delete your account in the Game (Profile → Account → Delete My Account).
- Analytics events: 90 days, and immediately when you switch Analytics off.
- Backups: 14 days. Purchase records: as long as tax / accounting law requires.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw consent at any time (Analytics: Profile → Settings → Privacy; push notifications: Profile → Settings or your device settings). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in the Czech Republic: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, www.uoou.cz). Write to [email] to exercise your rights.
7. Children
The Game is not directed at children. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country), or have the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child gave us personal data without that consent, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will show the new version in the Game and ask you to accept it again.
See also the Terms of Service.
9. Web store and support tickets
- Web store orders: when you buy Imperial Tickets on imperionwar.com we store the order (pack, number of Tickets, price, time, status, and the payment reference) to deliver the Tickets, handle refunds and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation; accounting records are kept for the period required by law, usually 10 years).
- Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland), which receives your payment details and acts under its own privacy policy. We receive only the payment status and a reference, never your full card number.
- Support tickets: the messages you send, your email address (for tickets created without signing in), the category and an order number you give us. We use them only to answer your request and keep them up to 3 years after the ticket is closed, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Support emails are sent through [email provider].
- The website itself uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Signing in on the website sets the same session cookie as the Game.
